The Decatur County Courthouse suffered minor damage after the wintry weather this past weekend.
The Greensburg Daily News is reporting that ice in a gutter resulted leaky roof that caused damage to ceiling tiles, carpet and plaster in the building.
The fire alarm was set off after water leaked into the building and reached a smoke detector.
Damage estimates could cost between $5,000 and $7,000, the newspaper reported.
The Greensburg Fire Department, Decatur County Sheriff’s Department, Minute Maid’s Cleaning Service and Ellerman’s Roofing assisted in limiting damage.
