(Franklin County, IN) – Searches took place in eastern Franklin County over the weekend for Roger Purcell.
He is the West Harrison area man who is the subject of a statewide Silver Alert that was issued Friday evening.
Volunteers searched Johnson Fork Creek and the Snow Hill Road area on foot and with the aid of drones and rescue dogs.
Purcell is a 50-year-old black male, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and last seen Thursday night around 11:00 wearing a gray cutoff tank top and white shorts.
Authorities say he is diabetic and prone to delusions.
