BATESVILLE, Ind. – The restaurant at Walhill Farm is receiving some recognition from a regional magazine.
Walhill has been named the best “Farm to Table” offering in the Greater Cincinnati area by Cincy Magazine’s Silver Spoon Awards.
The article highlights the seasonal Midwestern menu offering farm-fresh produce and protein, much of it grown on-site to be used at the restaurant. Ingredients that aren’t grown on the farm itself are locally sourced.
“We’re very pleased to be considered among the very best of Tri-state dining,” says owner Peter Hillenbrand.
“We love what we do, and we think it shows in the end product. When you’re passionate and dedicated to something, that tends to come through in your results. This award just reaffirms that Executive Chef Nicholas Gladding and his team are doing something good that folks from Cincinnati to Indianapolis and beyond are enjoying.”
