Walhill announces reorganization

Batesville, In. — Wallhill Farms has announced the closure of the restaurant. A press release says the facility will remain open for private events and catering.

Here is the complete company statement:

This is an extremely difficult decision to make, especially because of our love for and duty to our many regulars and fans, but it is a necessary decision.  It was not made without a good deal of anguish and thought.  But in the end the continued issues with running a farm to fork restaurant in the Indiana country side just became too much for our team.

We do want to make it very clear that The Restaurant at Walhill Farm will continue to offer very special, reservations only, dinners on the farm, as well as Catering at Walhill Farm, Private Events (like weddings, reunions, etc etc etc).   Corporate Events and functions are still open for business, and will become a big part of Walhill’s branding moving forward.  The Sulky Lodge, The Barn, and the farm grounds at Walhill Farm is a unique and inspiring space that is still open for scheduled events of all kinds.  Walhill Farm remains open for our incredible retail products;  Assorted meats and value added farm products of all kinds, and The Inn at Walhill Farm is also available for comfortable overnight accommodation needs.

We sincerely thank you for your support and enthusiasm for Walhill as we change into something bigger and better.  Please feel free to call us at 812 934 2600 if you would like to discuss any opportunities for our events management business.  We will be announcing our special, reservations only, dinner opportunities in the coming weeks, so please continue to keep up with these emails.  Please continue to let us know how we can continue to serve you and your hospitality needs.
