Versailles State Park Volunteer Recognized by DNR

(Indianapolis/Versailles, IN) – The Indiana Department of Natural Resources recently honored volunteers, employees and others who manage and conserve state park properties.

Brian Borgman has been recognized as one of two volunteers of the year statewide for his work at Versailles State Park.

Borgman began volunteering in 2023 and has contributed more than 840 hours.

He normally conducts daily rides through the park to check on staff and identify areas that need his help.

Borgman also assisted in the purchase of an e-bike for use in trail maintenance and hiker rescues.
