(Versailles, IN) – The Versailles State Park fireworks show and cookout, which was postponed over the 4th of July weekend, has been rescheduled for Saturday. September 2nd.
The event originally scheduled for July 1 was put on hold because of the potential for severe storms that night, and out of concern for the safety of guests and staff.
Park officials say if you’re planning to attend the event during Labor Day weekend, the sun sets sooner in September so you’re urged to arrive a bit earlier so you don’t miss the show.
