Versailles, In. —On Tuesday, 51 new Indiana State Troopers were assigned their first patrol vehicle, referred to as a commission in state police parlance, marks the culmination of more than five months of academy training, followed by three months of intensive field training. These 51 troopers will now begin solo patrol in their assigned district. From Versailles, the list includes Robert Jonas, Blake Litmer and Stephen Stoneking.
