(Franklin County, IN) – The burn ban in Franklin County has been lifted.
The order was issued by county commissioners last Wednesday because of abnormally dry conditions stemming from nearly three weeks without substantial rainfall.
Soaking rains on Sunday and again early Monday prompted commissioners to lift the burn ban this morning.

(Franklin County, IN) – Franklin County Commissioners on Wednesday morning declared a county-wide burn ban effective immediately and until further notice.
Abnormally dry conditions after 17 days without substantial rainfall led to the Commissioners ordering the open burn ban.
