(Brookville, IN) – United Way of Franklin and Ripley Counties and The Franklin County Community Foundation partnered to meet an urgent need this summer when RedLife Food Bank needed a compressor for one of their large freezers.
The issue was solved when United Way and the Foundation made a donation.
“So many people depend on the food bank and they continually tell how grateful they are and how it makes a difference in their lives,” said pantry coordinator Judy Drake.
The freezers are helping RedLife Food Bank provide protein options for the families they serve.
