Connersville, Ind. — Two Wayne County teens are facing charges after a Fayette County crash Thursday night.
At 8:30 p.m. Indiana State Police responded to the 3200 block of Fayette County Road 925 North and found a vehicle that had rolled and hit a tree. The report indicates the driver, Dylan Isaacs, 19, of Richmond, was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to negotiate a curve. The car went off the road, rolled and hit a tree.
A test determined Isaacs had a blood alcohol level of .15 percent. He treated for minor injuries at a hospital in Connersville and charged with operating while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level above .15 percent, minor consuming, minor in possession of alcohol, driving left of center and speed too fast to avoid a collision. The passenger, Gabriel Payne, 18, of Cambridge City, was cited for minor consuming and minor in possession of alcohol. Payne was treated for minor injuries as well.
