Two people were injured after a vehicle collision on State Road 229 near 1450 North Monday night.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene of the the two vehicle crash around 5:23 p.m.
An investigation led by Batesville Police Officer Ryan Metcalf revealed that Michael Wenning, 58, of Batesville was driving north on S.R. 229 when he traveled left of center and collided head on with another vehicle traveling south.
The second vehicle was driven by Kimberly Youngman, 35, of Batesville.
According to a witness, Air Care landed at St. Paul’s Crossroads Lutheran Church. Youngman was flown to University of Cincinnati Hospital for serious injuries.
Wenning was transported by ambulance to Margaret Mary Health.
No word on the current condition of either driver.
