Greensburg, IN—Jamee Reed and Brianna Wilson of Greensburg have been selected as 2020 “Snacktion Heroes,” a national initiative recognizing America’s grocery workers during the current pandemic. Jamee was nominated by Sarah Fleenor, and Brianna by resident Bill Dyer, and were chosen from nearly 600 nominations submitted for local grocery store employees on the frontlines across the country.

While all of these nominees are considered “heroes” for their dedication and work, 20 of the nominees were selected to be part of the first “Snacktion Heroes” team, with additional recognition and donations made to their chosen food bank or food pantry. Sponsor Farm Rich, a frozen snack food company, has donated a total of $10,000 to hunger relief organizations in local communities with $500 per Hero being donated in their honor to date.

Jamee chose Greensburg Bread of Life as the recipient of her donation. And Brianna’s donation went to the Gleaners Food Bank.
