Laurel, In.— Two Laurel residents are facing drug charges after a routine traffic stop by Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies.
A report from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says the stop was initiated for an equipment violation while on patrol Saturday at 6 p.m. in Laurel. During the stop police found about one ounce of methamphetamine.
Jerry Abrams, 62, and Tony Pursifull, 44, both of Laurel, were arrested for dealing in methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia.
