The following are boys junior high basketball recaps from Tuesday, November 9.
Jac-Cen-Del’s seventh grade defeated Greendale 38-24. Blake Wagner of the Eagles tallied 21 points and 11 rebounds. Teammate Neil Sullivan posted nine points, four boards and four steals.
The Bengals beat the Eagles in the eighth grade game 46-13. Lane Carroll collected seven points and seven caroms for JCD.
The South Ripley seventh grade bested Batesville 38-31. Drew Volz poured in 21 points for the Raiders and teammate Brogan Buchanan had nine. Carson Hartley had 15 points for the Bulldogs.
BMS won the eighth grade contest 31-29 after trailing 19-10 at halftime. Trenton Luers led the Dogs with 14 points fellow canine Brayden Maple dropped in 11.
