Travis Michael Manlief, 39, of Greensburg, Indiana, passed away on August 27, 2025. Born on March 13, 1986, in Batesville, Indiana, Travis was the beloved son of Susan Chandler and the late Michael D. Manlief.
Travis worked in construction, where his strong work ethic and willingness to lend a helping hand left a lasting impression on those who worked beside him. He was a man who found joy in the simple things—fishing on quiet mornings, strumming his guitar, and getting lost in music. Above all, he cherished time spent with his son, Jace Michael Manlief, who was the light of his life.
Those who knew Travis will remember his generous spirit, his easygoing nature, and the way he always showed up for the people he loved. His heart was as strong as his hands, and he touched many lives with his kindness and loyalty.
Travis is survived by his mother, Susan Chandler; stepfather, Johnny Moore; his cherished son, Jace Michael Manlief; and his siblings: Natasha Manlief, Marie Moore, Timothy Moore, Amber Roszell, Becky Lozier, and Eric Huweart. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael D. Manlief; brother, Michael D. Manlief Jr; and niece, Kasey McAdams.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
