Travis Bradford Harris, 47, of Sunman passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1977 in Iowa City, Iowa as the son of Steven and Marge Harris.
Travis married Alysha Fleek on February 2, 2009 and she survives. After graduation from high school, he honorably served his country in the United States Navy, where he developed a strong sense of discipline, responsibility, and pride in service. After completing his military duty, he returned home and took on the role of manager at Certified Fast Lube in Harrison, where he was known for his leadership, work ethic, and dedication to customer service. Later, he continued his commitment to public service as a postal worker with the United States Postal Service. Outside of work, he was a devoted father who treasured spending time with his children, especially enjoying hikes together in nature. He had a passion for computer games. He also enjoyed working and tinkering on cars.
Travis is survived by his wife, Alysha Harris; children: Natalie, Wyatt, and Willow; and mother, Marge Harris.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven; Grandfather and Grandmother Richardson; Grandfather and Grandmother Harris; Uncle David and Uncle Leslie; Aunt Marlene; and Cousin Randy.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM. A funeral service will be held following visitation at 12:30 PM all at Meyers Funeral Home. Military honors will be conducted by Sunman American Legion Post 337 following the service. Burial will follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Memorial contributions can be made to the family by bringing to services or mailing to Meyers Funeral Home, PO Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
