SUNMAN, IN — The Town of Sunman and 5th graders at Sunman Elementary School are teaming up to create awareness about the importance of recycling.
Students are participating in a contest to design a custom T-shirt that incorporates recycling as the theme.
The Sunman Utility Department will select 15 finalists and the Town Council will choose the final winner.
The name of the winner will be announced at the November 18 council meeting.
The winning design will be printed on T-shirts that will be worn by Town of Sunman utility, park board, and town hall staff.
The student who creates the winning design will receive a gift basket and two custom T-shirts.
