BATESVILLE, Ind. – A tornado watch has been issued for Decatur, Jennings and Rush counties until 1 a.m. Tuesday.
Additional counties could see alerts as the evening progresses.
Forecasters say a line of showers and storms are moving through the listening area. Rain is likely Tuesday with the high temperature reaching the upper 60’s.
A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms to form, but it also means that a few storms may be capable of producing a tornado.
A tornado warning is issued when a tornado is either occurring or imminent based on radar.
