Timothy Martin Cook, age 65, of Brookville, passed away Friday morning, June 27, 2025, at his residence.
A son of Eugene and Mildred Sortwell Cook, Tim was born August 28, 1959, in Dearborn County, Indiana.
Tim was united in marriage to Beth Meyer on May 31, 1980. Mrs. Cook survives.
Tim worked as a machinist for Anderson Manufacturing in Hebron, Kentucky. He was a member of the NRA, the Amateur Trap Association, as well as The National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association. Tim enjoyed spending his time hunting, fishing, trap shooting, and building muzzleloaders.
Besides his wife of 45 years, Beth Cook, survivors include his mother, Mildred Cook, of Bright, Indiana; as well as four siblings, Connie Marshall of Bright, Indiana, Donna Varble of Greendale, Indiana, Kelly Stokes of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Shannon Wirtley of Oxford, Ohio; as well as several nieces & nephews.
Tim is preceded in death by his father, Eugene Cook; three siblings, Dennis Cook, Jeff Cook, and Pam Rowlett; and a nephew, Jason Hussong.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Phillips and Myers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue.
Pastor John Ramsey will officiate the funeral service at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Phillips and Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Brookville Avenue. Burial will follow in Big Cedar Cemetery in Brookville.
