(Batesville, IN) – The Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC) is excited to announce the Community Art Show, a month-long celebration of local talent and creativity. The art show will be on display at the Batesville Memorial Public Library (BMPL) throughout June. Community members are encouraged to visit the exhibit and vote for their favorite submission.
Vote for Your Favorite Art Piece Voting for the People’s Choice Award is open until June 27, 2024, at 6:45 p.m. Each vote is an opportunity to support local artists and contribute to the selection of the People’s Choice Award.
Award Presentation The winners of each category, along with the Best of Show winner and the People’s Choice Award, will be publicly recognized during an award presentation held at BMPL on June 27, 2024, at 7 p.m. The community is invited to join this celebration of artistic excellence.
Cash Prizes Winners will receive cash prizes as follows:
· Best of Show: $400
· 1st Place: $300
· 2nd Place: $150
· People’s Choice Award: Priceless
