Franklin County, In. — Deputies from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department investigated a single vehicle crash Sunday morning that injured a Brookville teen.
Reports indicate a 17-year-old was westbound on Fairfield Causeway Road around 10:40 a.m. when he lost control after hitting a patch of ice. The vehicle went off the road, rolled twice and struck a tree and an embankment.
The 17-year-old driver was treated for minor injuries. A 17-year-old backseat passenger was transported for treatment after being ejected from the vehicle. A 17-year-old front seat passenger was also treated for injuries.
Investigators believe speed was a factor in the crash.
