Three pitchers combine for no-hitter in Batesville JV baseball’s win over Connersville

Three pitchers didn’t allow a single hit as Batesville junior varsity defeated Connersville 18-0 on Monday.

The Bulldogs secured the victory thanks to 12 runs in the second inning. The big inning was thanks to singles by Brayden Maple, Ethan Lacey, Dane Dudley, Conner Drake, and Paxton Harris, an error on a ball put in play by Alex Krekeler and Josh Borgman, a walk by Dudley, and a double by Jaiden Kuria.

Borgman toed the rubber for Batesville. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits, striking out two, and walking zero.

The Bulldogs tallied 14 hits in the game. Drake, Lacey, Kuria, and Maple all collected multiple hits. Drake went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Batesville in hits.
