Theodore Edward Cox Jr., 74, of Aurora, IN, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023.
He was born July 25, 1949, in Cincinnati, OH, son of the late Theodore Cox Sr.and Pearl (Blevins) Cox.
Ted served his country as a member of the United States Army and was a Purple Heart Recipient.
He worked in Heating and Air for many years of service.
He was a member of the VFW, American Legion and the Moose Lodge.
He was a Life Member of the Vietnam Veterans Lary D. Fogle Chapter 71.
Ted is survived by his loving spouse Amanda (Vogelgesang) Cox; children, Charmaine Cox Smith, Teddy Adams, Ruthie (Christopher) Fischer, Jacob Cody Cox; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Kent (MaryAnn) Cox, Richard (Mary Rose) Cox; sisters, Charmaine (Roger) Schindler, Alrene (Tim) Cantwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Sr. and Pearl Cox; sister, Joyce Cambell.
Friends will be received Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 3 – 5 pm at the Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic Street, Aurora, IN.
Military Services will be held at the Funeral Home, at 5:00 pm.
Interment will be held at a later date at River View Cemetery.
