Batesville, In. — The “Oktobeerfest 5k” will be held September 14 at the Sherman in Batesville. The event features competitive running and cold beverages. All proceeds benefit a mission trip to help those less fortunate in Kenya.
It’s a great opportunity to enjoy downtown Batesville and support the members of Matthew 19:25 Mission Team.
The run/walk begins and ends at The Sherman. Registration begins at 5:15 p.m. and the run/walk begins at 6:30 p.m. From 7 p.m. to midnight it’s the “Oktobeerfest Post Race Party” with an awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m.
The event is hosted by the What the Hill Running Club: Will run for beer.
