The 6th grade St. Louis girls basketball team is now 1-4 for their season after a loss against the Laurel Yellow Jackets. The Cardinals came out strong in the first quarter only trailing by 2. The yellow jackets continued to drain outside shots, expanding their lead. Evelyn Ollberding and Kristen Obermeyer played fierce defense. Cassandra Meneses did well in rebounding the ball. Claire Baker led the team with 6 points. Lucy Brelage, Lydia Dwyer, and Katie Hammond each had 2. The Cardinals are back in action on February 15th at home.
