Teresa Fay Moore, 67

Teresa Fay Moore, 67, of Greensburg passed away on May 26, 2023. She was born on June 29, 1955 in Greensburg, daughter of twelve, to William Henry and Lillian May (LeMasters) Heath. Teresa married Zon David Moore on June 24, 1978 after a chance meeting at a softball game in Westport, and together they had two children Zon and Cortnie. Teresa worked at Delta Faucet for 17 years until she retired to run her own daycare. Teresa and Zon were known as Nanny and Mr. Nanny to a whole generation of kids in Greensburg. Teresa enjoyed scrapbooking, sewing, cooking, volunteering with Girl Scouts, but her favorite pastime of all was being a Mamal. She was the Mamal of six beautiful grandchildren that she adored. She spent her time helping with school projects, cheering from the sidelines, sewing uniforms, and going on picnics at Anderson Falls just like she did when she was a kid.
Survivors include: Husband, Zon D. Moore; Son, Zon B. Moore; Daughters, Cortnie (Jeremy) Anderson, Juli O’Brien, Jessica Fortner; Grandchildren; Hunter Moore, Makenna Moore, Conner Moore, Charley Anderson, Macy Anderson and Toby Anderson; Sisters, Michelle Heath and Melinda Heath both of Westport, Dolly Brown and Rome (Daniel) League both of North Vernon; Brothers, Jeffrey Heath, Preston “Jake” Heath and Scott Heath all of North Vernon. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Sisters, Carlotta Johnson and Brenda Bedel; and Brothers, Coy Heath and Henry Alan Heath.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at the Clarksburg Christian Church from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral at 1:00 pm. Rev. Jerran Jackson will be officiating.
