Batesville, In. — Officials from the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce say local businesses are receiving calls from a Texas company soliciting money for “local causes.”
Always make sure to get the identity of the person that is calling, never give personal information over the phone and always check with a family member or trusted friend before making any purchase or donation online or via telephone.
