Tammy Lynn Humpert, 52, of Greensburg, passed away on April 20, 2022. She was born on November 15, 1969 in Greensburg, the daughter of Frances “Frank” and Ellen Washburn Schoettmer. Tammy was a 1989 graduate of South Decatur High School. She married the love of her life, Jeffery Humpert, on May 2, 1992. Tammy was the one and only love for Jeff as well. Together, they spent the next 30 years loving, laughing, and enjoying their lives together. Standing 4’11” tall she had an appreciation for what short people went through on a daily basis and had a love of watching little people reality shows. Tammy worked at Gecom from 1991 to 2008.
Survivors include: Husband, Jeff Humpert; Beloved Pug, Molly; Father, Frank Schoettmer; Brothers, Jeff (Penny) Schoettmer and Lawrence Schoettmer; Niece, Grace (Bill) Wagner; and her Mother in law, Barbara Humpert. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Ellen Schoettmer, Father in Law, John M. Humpert; Brother in Law, Bradley Humpert and several Aunts.
A visitation for family and friends will be held at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the time of the funeral at 2:00 pm. Pastor Janet Hodson will be officiating. Burial will follow at the South Park Cemetery.
