Take some time to enjoy the parks

Versailles, In. —  Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Office of Tourism Development  are celebrating Visit Indiana Week in conjunction with National Travel and Tourism Week through May 11, 2019.

“Tourism makes a significant contribution to Indiana’s quality of life and fiscal well-being.  As I have traveled across our great state, I have witnessed this firsthand,” Crouch said. “Visit Indiana Week is the perfect time to get out and celebrate all the wonderful things to see and do in the Hoosier State.”

Over 300 businesses and attractions around Indiana are offering discounted or free admission on one or more of the themed days during the week.

“As Hoosiers, we know Indiana’s home to a number of incredible destinations, attractions, restaurants, wineries and breweries,” said Misty Weiseinsteiner, IOTD’s executive director. “Visit Indiana Week is showcasing all of these wonderful assets, please consider this your invitation to visit.”

Wayback Wednesday celebrates Indiana’s historical destinations with discounts at more than 60 locations around the Hoosier State on May 8.
