(Greensburg, IN) – Decatur County Commissioners heard an update this week on the swimming pool survey.
Commissioner Gabriel Nobbe reported they received 3,456 responses this time around, compared to 900 in the first survey.
Officials say this indicates high public interest and engagement.
The results were taken under advisement.
Commissioners issued the survey last month to gauge residents’ interest in having government officials make a public swimming pool available.
The community has been without a public swimming facility since Allen Memorial Pool was shuttered two years ago because of deteriorating conditions.
