The Indiana Basketball Coaches Association has released its Girls Basketball All-State Teams for the 2021-22 season.
Receiving the highest accolade of any area athlete was East Central’s Josie Trabel who was named to the Underclass Supreme 15. The Supreme 15 is a top honor given to a chosen few without regard to school size.
Making Senior Large School All-State was Trabel’s teammate Hope Fox.
Honorable Mention Senior All-State selections included: Jac-Cen-Del’s Annabelle Williams, Waldron’s Nichole Garner and Bella Larrison, Lawrenceburg’s Kirsten Cross, Switzerland County’s Jessie Duvall and Rushville’s Annika Marlow.
There was also one area Honorable Mention Underclass All-State selection. That was Greensburg’s Mylie Wilkison.
