(Sunman, IN) – Sunman Utilities customers are without water service for the next several hours due to a water main break.
Crews have fixed the problem but as a result, the town is under a precautionary Boil Advisory until further notice, and the community is asked to preserve water during this emergency.
The best case scenario is sometime this weekend before the advisory would be lifted.
A Boil Advisory is a precautionary measure issued by a water utility to alert customers when there is a potential for compromised water quality.
It is recommended that you boil all water used in the preparation of food and beverages for consumption for at least two minutes.
Water used for laundry, showering, shaving, and watering grass or plants is safe to use without boiling.
