Sunman, IN — The Sunman Rural Fire Department is looking for area youth to join its Fire Cadet Program.
The program gives insight into fire and emergency services and could help provide young people with a road map for their futures.
Cadets will take part in a variety of activities including fire safety, community service, first aid, and other services.
Anyone between the ages of 15 and 18 who have successfully completed the 8th grade or are still in high school is eligible for the program with the permission of a parent or guardian.
All prospective cadets must complete a standard application for admission into the program.
