Dearborn County-Earlier this week, the Indiana State Police arrested a Sunman, Indiana man on multiple counts of child molesting after a six month long investigation.
The investigation began in October 2017 after Indiana State Police Detectives were notified that Dickie D. Gould, age 84, Sunman, Indiana had allegedly molested a female juvenile two or three years prior on multiple occasions at his residence in Ripley County and another residence in Dearborn County. Gould was also alleged to have showed the juvenile pornographic images while they were at his residence.
As a result of the investigation, a warrant was issued out of Ripley County, Indiana for the arrest of Dickie Gould on one felony count of Dissemination of Harmful Material to a Minor. He was arrested on that charge earlier this month. The investigation then led to a warrant being issued out of Dearborn County for the arrest of Gould on four felony counts of Child Molesting.
Gould was arrested on April 24th, 2018 on the Dearborn County warrant. He was taken into custody at his residence without incident. He was incarcerated at the Dearborn County Jail pending his initial appearance in the Dearborn Circuit Court.
The investigation is ongoing.
