(Statewide) – Indiana DNR is offering free admission to state parks, recreation areas, forests, and reservoirs on Sunday (May 7), which is also a Free Fishing Day.
On Free Fishing Days, Indiana residents do not need a fishing license or a trout/salmon stamp to fish the state’s public waters.
All other rules such as seasons, bag, and size limits apply.
DNR says Free Fishing Days are an excellent opportunity to learn how to fish, take your family fishing, or introduce a friend to fishing.
For public places to fish near you, visit on.IN.gov/where2fish.
In addition to Sunday, Free Fishing Days this year are set for June 3 and 4 and September 23.
