Batesville, In. — Since the election of President Donald Trump gun sales have declined, in 2018 gun sales were down 6.1-percent. For states that depend on the economic impact of firearms this could be a bad thing.
A panel of researchers from WalletHub combed over data from all 50 states to determine what states are the most dependent on the gun industry. Kentucky hit the list at 7, Indiana was 16 and Ohio ranked as the 29th most dependent state on the gun industry.
