Steven Dennis Coghill, 72, of Miami, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2025.
He was born on September 18, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Harold F. Coghill and Margaret (Endress) Coghill. Steven proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force.
Steven worked as a commercial painter, painting high-rise buildings throughout Florida. He loved all types of music and enjoyed reading and painting, whether creating pictures or decorating objects.
Steven lived in a VA Hospital Community Living facility, where he actively participated in many activities and was fondly remembered by both residents and staff.
He is survived by his sisters, Janice Slaughter, Mary J. (Terry) Smith, and Jill (Charlie) Ford; his nieces, Jamie Ward and Megan Dixon; as well as many cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jane Ahaus.
Friends will be received on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 542 Walnut Street, Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
A Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., with Father Jonathon Meyer officiating.
Interment will follow at Greendale Cemetery, with military graveside services conducted by the Southeastern Indiana Honor Guard.
