Westport, In. — Officials from the Indiana Department of Transportation say contractors will close State Road 3 just north of Westport in Decatur County Monday, March 18 to replace a culvert at Wyaloosing Creek. The culvert replacement is part of a $2.6 million project that began last year to replace or rehab seven bridges and smaller structures on State Road 3 and State Road 7.
The official state highway detour will follow State Road 46, U.S. 31, and State Road 7.
State Road 3 is expected to reopen to thru traffic by April 6, weather depending.
