The Indiana Department of Transportation announced today that contractors will close State Road 148 about one half mile west of U.S. 50 beginning on or after, April 15 to complete a $400,000 small structure replacement project. The closure will be in effect for approximately 45 days, weather depending.
The official state highway detour route will follow U.S. 50 and S.R. 48.
