State Road 129 Project Delayed One Week

(Ripley County, IN) – INDOT is delaying the start of a pipe repair project on State Road 129 north of Cross Plains in Ripley County.

The work was originally scheduled to start on Monday, September 15, but it’s now slated to begin on or after Tuesday, September 23.

State Road 129 will be closed between East County Road 750 South and East County Road 650 South, and is expected to reopen in late October, weather permitting.

During the closure, drivers should use the official detour route which follows U.S. 421 to State Road 250.

INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use extra caution, and avoid distractions when traveling in and near work zones.

All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
