(Greensburg, IN) – St. Mary’s Catholic School in Greensburg will be closed with E-Learning Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14 due to a high number of illnesses.
In a letter to parents and guardians, Principal Nancy Buening wrote the decision was made with regret to close school the rest of this week after conferences with the Decatur County Health Department and the Archdiocese of Indianapolis.
Buening says the hope is that the time away will give St. Mary’s staff a chance to deep clean the school, and give students a chance to get healthy.
The missed days will not need to be made up. Students will return on Tuesday, February 18 since Monday, February 17 was already a scheduled off day.
