On Wednesday, St. Louis Catholic School competed in a four-way track meet with Jac-Cen-Del, Switzerland County, and Hauser at Switzerland County.

On the boys side, Griffin Koester took first in two events, winning the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:13 and the 400-meter dash with a time of 62 seconds. And to round out individual first-place finishes, Jeff Gerstbauer won the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.09 seconds
In relays, the boys 4×100 meter relay set a new school record with a time of 51.4 seconds beating the previous mark of 51.85 seconds set in 2004. The record-setting team consisted of Rylan Hill, Adam Weber, Jeff Gerstbauer, and Cayden Lieland. The 4×400 meter relay team of Will Huber, Cayden Lieland, Adam Weber, and Griffin Koester took first with a time of 4:21.
On the girls side, Bella Watson placed first in the discus with a throw of 51’5″. Mary Kara Wanstrath won the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:15. Maggie Tekulve placed first in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:50.
Belle Young set a new school record in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 17.50, beating the previous school record of 17.68 seconds set in 2005.
The 4 x 100-meter relay team placed first with a time of 58.4. The winning relay team consisted of Ava Becker, Maci Smith, Bella Watson, and Belle Young. St. Louis also took first in the 4×400 meter relay with a time of 5:02. That team consisted of Mary Kara Wanstrath, Maci Smith, Maggie Tekulve, and Belle Young.
