BATESVILLE, Ind. — St. Louis School’s Spanish Club recently held a school-wide toothbrush and toothpaste drive.
Everything that was collected was sent to schools in Gandou, Haiti through the St. Louis Haiti Ministry.
In all, the school collected over 500 toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste.
In addition to the collection, each grade at St. Louis sponsors a student attending school in Gandou.
Only 30% of families have enough to pay for tuition.
Without the support, many students would not be able to attend school.
