The 7th grade Cardinals took down Franklin County during their last regular season home game on Monday night in two sets with scores of 25-19 and 25-22. Cardinals were led in scoring by Claire Baker with 14 points, Heidi Schneider with 5 points, and Isla Padgett with 4 points. Reagan Seifert contributed 3 kills and 3 blocks. Lydia Dwyer added 2 kills.
The 8th grade Cardinals put up a great effort and took the Wildcats to three sets, ultimately losing. Scores were 22-25, 25-19, and 14-16. Natalie Kranz led the scorers with 13 points. Kristen Obermeyer added 8 points, and Emma Hunter contributed 6 points. The Cardinal defense was led by Bella Watson with 8 digs and Grace Hardebeck with 5 digs. Natalie Kranz had 6 blocks at the net. Elsa Schneider had 3 blocks. Emma Hunter scored 3 kills, while Elsa Schneider and Natalie Kranz contributed 2 kills each.
