Batesville, IN — The St. Louis sixth-grade boys basketball team hosted the St. Michael Trojans on Tuesday evening, but despite a strong effort, the Cardinals were defeated 33–17. The Cardinals played with energy and determination throughout the game, particularly on the boards, where they did a solid job of rebounding. However, the visiting Trojans proved to be too much, maintaining control of the game.
Leading the scoring for the Cardinals was one player with 8 points, followed by another who contributed 4. Two other players added 3 and 2 points, respectively.
Though they came up short, the Cardinals’ hard work was evident throughout the game, leaving them with plenty to build on as they move forward in the season.
