Greensburg, IN —Decatur County Emergency Management stated that INDOT Contractors will officially close Main Street (IN 46) to all traffic starting Tuesday, July 14th at 8:00 am at the intersection with Lincoln Street in Greensburg.
While the Main Street bridge is closed, the county will also be closing the bridge on Washington Street, one street to the North of Main Street. This is due to weight limits on the bridge on Washington Street and the possible traffic that would attempt to use this bridge. It will remain closed to all traffic until the Main Street bridge is completed.
This closure will be for approximately 40 days.
