OHIO COUNTY, IN — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Sunesis Construction plans to close State Road 262 between Hartford Pike Rd and Milton Bear Branch Rd beginning Wednesday, September 1.
State Road 262 will be closed through late November for a bridge deck overlay project over Laughery Creek. Motorists should seek an alternate route. The official detour will follow U.S. 50 and State Road 56.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
