Batesville, IN—Officials from INDOT say that two smaller sections of S.R. 229 are being resurfaced (one in Batesville and one in Oldenburg). Total resurfacing is around 1 mile each. Milling is now complete in Batesville and began Monday near Oldenburg.
Paving in Batesville is set to begin on Wednesday and is expected to be completed by early next week, barring any delays due to weather. Oldenburg paving will follow after Batesville is completed. The entire project should be complete by early-to-mid September.
Lane closures with flaggers will be in effect along the route.
