Spring Forward With Daylight Saving Time Early Sunday

(Southeastern IN) – We “spring forward” this weekend when Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday.

You’re urged to set manual clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Local fire departments also recommend that you replace the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

The time change means less sunlight in the morning but more daylight in the late afternoon and early evening.

We’ll do another clock reset this fall when we switch back to Standard Time on November 3.
