Spring Forward This Weekend

(Southeastern IN) – We “spring forward” this weekend when Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday.

You’re urged to set manual clocks ahead one hour before going to bed Saturday night.

Local fire departments also recommend that you change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

The time change means less sunlight in the morning but more daylight in the late afternoon and early evening.

We’ll do another clock re-set this fall when we switch back to Standard Time on November 1.
